Finding practical ways to move Oregon forward
Who We Are
We are Oregonians who have come together with one goal - to see our state and its people thrive. We are bound only to finding practical ways to move Oregon forward. In today's hyper-partisan world, it is all too easy to attack the messenger rather than debate the message.
That's why we're committed to stand together, and let the ideas we move forward stand on their own. Our focus is on simple, practical solutions that would benefit the lives of Oregonians across the state. We believe that coming together (regardless of your politics) to find practical solutions is the only way to move Oregon forward.

What We Do
Our purpose is to explore and incubate positive, popular solutions to real problems through concepts that could be moved to the ballot if given a fair path forward.
We believe in the power of ideas. Too often in the current environment instead of debating ideas we participate in the politics of personal destruction and ideological warfare. Good ideas can come from anywhere - if you have good ideas that you think would move the state forward we would love to hear them.

Getting Us Nowhere
Public Safety
We are caught between those who want to be tough on crime and those who believe we've no right to tell people how to live.
Housing
We are caught between those who want unregulated development and those who want to stop development.
Election Reform
We are caught between those who want all money out of politics, and those who believe there should be no limits.
Government Accountability
We are caught between those who think government should be torn down, and those who think government is the answer to everything.
The Path Forward
1. Give the people a greater voice in the government
Our government is broken, and has become untethered to its people. On issue after issue there are ideas that overwhelmingly popular solutions that can't be moved in Salem.
2. Make our elected officials work for the people
Right now, politicians care more about the institutional interests that recruit and retain them than the people who voted for them.
3. Focus on practical solutions not ideological battles
The point of government should be to build consensus and create solutions. The extremes only want to argue for their own benefit rather than find the common good.
4. Hold government accountable to results
Spending money without setting specific goals or measuring progress only wastes time and lives.

If you have ideas to move the state forward, we'd love to hear them.
Our Ideas
We've listened to members of the community, done policy and legal research both in Oregon and other states, and crafted our first batch of ideas

We believe in Oregon – that our state is full of resilient and creative people who are much more united than our government. We believe, if given the chance, they will come together beyond the limits of political labels and ideology.
